项目难点:因为项目的行业属性,以及对市场上相关产品的调查和了解,大多都是对中国传统文化元素的滥用,最终的结果是乡土气息浓重,而且俗不可耐。

解决问题:所以这个项目特别容易陷入传统的俗气风格陷阱当中,客户希望他们的产品和品牌也能得到年轻人的喜爱而不是只是大爷大妈们的选择,所以我们从产品的外观到产品品牌的定位都是朝着年轻时尚的方向去打造,既有传统内涵又简洁时尚。

我们在设计品牌的形象的时候从品牌名“灸脉通”的“灸”字着手,因为“灸”字本身能代表灸脉通的产品,同时又是一个使用产品的动词。

LOGO的设计灵感来源于艾灸,艾灸是中医针灸疗法中的一种灸法,通过点燃艾叶制作成的艾柱,熏烤人体的穴位达到治疗的作用。logo通过点与线的结合进行设计,点代表人体的穴位,线代表经脉,连成一个“灸”字,寓意着艾灸里的“行气通络”。

同时,logo又巧妙的把太极八卦融于“灸”字当中,因为八经卦就是奇经八脉,在《易经》中六十四卦符号系统就是人体经络系统的真实反映,是人体经络的结构方程式,这与灸脉通的产品以及品牌不谋而合。

中文字体的设计延续logo小篆的风格,为了使得品牌识别性更高,我们提炼出小篆的味道而又让其能被现代人轻松辨识与认知,同时让整体的设计风格既有文化底蕴又不失现代时尚的品牌调性。

Project Challenges

Due to the industry nature of the project and our research into related products on the market, we found that many tend to misuse traditional Chinese cultural elements, resulting in a heavy and unattractive rustic feel.

Solution

This project is particularly prone to falling into the trap of traditional and tacky styles. The client hopes their products and brand will appeal to young people rather than just the elderly. Therefore, we aim to create a product appearance and brand positioning that leans towards a young and fashionable direction, combining traditional elements with a clean and stylish aesthetic.

In designing the brand image, we started with the word “灸” in the brand name “灸脉通” (Jiumaitong). The character “灸” (moxibustion) itself represents the product and is also a verb describing the action of using the product.

Logo Design

The inspiration for the logo comes from moxibustion, a traditional Chinese acupuncture therapy. This therapy involves burning moxa made from mugwort leaves and applying it to acupuncture points on the body for therapeutic effects. The logo is designed using a combination of dots and lines, where dots represent acupuncture points and lines represent meridians, forming the character “灸.” This symbolizes the flow of energy and the connectivity promoted by moxibustion.

Additionally, the logo subtly integrates the concept of Tai Chi and Bagua (Eight Trigrams) into the character “灸.” The Eight Trigrams represent the eight extraordinary meridians in traditional Chinese medicine. In the “I Ching,” the system of sixty-four hexagrams reflects the human meridian system, aligning perfectly with the product and brand philosophy of Jiumaitong.

Font Design

The Chinese font design continues the seal script style of the logo. To enhance brand recognition, we distilled the essence of seal script while ensuring it is easily recognizable by modern audiences. The overall design style combines cultural heritage with a contemporary and fashionable brand tone.
